Buy TRAVEL from the FoF store so my brother won’t starve! $4.98 pre-order

Hey friends! Buy Future of Forestry’s new album TRAVEL from their FoF store here. Why? Because then your money will actually go to the band instead of a chunk being taken out for the third party company (like Amazon or iTunes). Also, if you pre-order the album now, they will ship it to you BEFORE the release date so you’ll get the new album on or before May 5th. So get off this blog or facebook for a few seconds, open a new tab in your browser and buy TRAVEL!

Just a sidenote, this is an amazing album! Any of you that have been following Something Like Silas and/or Future of Forestry for any amount of time know that each new album just keeps getting better and better. This one is no exception, and TRAVEL is a FoF project through and through. Eric and FoF wrote all the music, produced and mixed it, recorded it, took all the pictures for the album artwork, and his superb artist wife painted the artwork for the album cover. So go support them!

A good quote for Christians about life...

"In short, God's will is that you and I get happy and holy in Jesus. So go marry someone, provided you're equally yoked and you actually like being with each other. Go get a job, provided it's not wicked. Go live somewhere in something with somebody or nobody. But put aside the passivity and the quest for complete fulfillment and the perfectionism and the preoccupation with the future, and for God's sake start making some decisions in your life. Don't wait for the liver-shiver. If you are seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, you will be in God's will, so just go out and do something. (Page 61)

Quoted from this blog and this book.

i haven't read this book, but i really liked this quote. i agree that many Christians, including me a lot of the time, agonize over decision after decision in life. We/i must simply pursue Christ above all, and see our decisions through the lens of following Christ, not try and see Christ through the ever changing and undependable lens of life's circumstances.
