3 Recent Acquisitions

The latest and greatest of study Bibles. The new ESV Study Bible is the most comprehensive study Bible out there with maps, archaeological notes, detailed lengthy introductions on each book, sidebar essays, and notes written by a editing board including the likes of J.I. Packer and my personal favorite, Wayne Grudem. I've only had it a few days and it's a great resource. Another bonus is access to the online ESV Study Bible when you buy one of these bad boys.

So, our table doesn't look exactly like this, but it's close. We ordered a counter height dark wood table back in September, (September!) and we just got it into our home a week ago. It's so nice to finally have a kitchen table. Our guests have been sitting on the couch or the floor eating off Michael's giant tool box container. Sad.

i absolutely love white chocolate covered pretzels. Blah blah i know white chocolate isn't real chocolate, but i don't care! There is something sooo amazing about creamy sweetness blended with salty crunchiness. They were $1/bag at Ralph's this week. i bought one bag but i think i'm going to have to go back and get some more before the promotion is over.

Future of Forestry Christmas EP

My brother's band just released their Christmas EP. The album goes on sale TODAY in hard copy. You can buy it HERE, or if you want to hear it free* visit their myspace page (www.myspace.com/futureofforestry). It's Christmas music Future of Forestry-ized. Check it out!!!

*Even though you can hear it free, i'd encourage you to buy it so my brother and his wife don't starve and live on the streets.

Don't laugh, but...

i'm taking a ballet class.

Yes, i know my natural grace is evident to all as is, (cough cough) but taking an actual ballet class would just make me that much cooler. i know, it's not something you nor i ever imagined i'd do, but it's only five weeks and it's really low key. But it's not low key on my out of shape self! After just one hour of stretching, balancing, ballet-ing the basics, i was feelin' it. Who knew that such little movement could be such a workout?

Anyway i'm actually looking forward to the rest of it. Last night it was only my friend and i and the instructor, so we pretty much got a private lesson and i got some attentive coaching on the basics. So next week when the rest of the class is there i won't look like a clueless loser. Aw too bad, i think that's inevitable anyway... :)

This blog is a continuation of another blog. More of the same.
